Paul Simon with a few glasses of wine to loosen him up into a Dadaist mood, White Sky yodels its way into our collective hearts and ears the same way the pre-releases of Horchata and Cousins made us giggle with delight at the pure happiness. It’s easy to see that the college preppies of album one did not want to recreate the past, but I admit to missing the philosophical ironies that made the first cd vital to all music lovers.
