The Larch - Radio Free Alpha Centauri

“Out here in deep space, nothing’s for sure.” The folks who brought us the great fun single Gravity Rocks last year return with an album of space-themed songs which satisfy all my cravings to float to other planets. Gravity Rocks is inclluded on this album, along with the fun fun fun Radio Free Alpha Centauri. Fun wake-up the week music, with an earthly song mid-way through. We’ve always had people walking the streets, but now there seem to be more and more. It’s not that there are more weird people, but it’s the fault of technology, and makes for a fun song, Cell Phone Or Schizo. The Larch

The Larch - Gravity Rocks

“Prepare for launch”, and then as the engines take off we Venture into the realm of space surf rock!!! Great way to start sweating off that dinner – this instrumental may have a 60’s feel, but there is still some really tasty guitar work. This perfect little cut is also timed perfectly. After 2 minutes of dancing in this gravity, the shout-out Radio Free Alpha Centauri is a dance tune that helps to free me from gravity with it’s swirling feel that sends me twirling all around my living room “searching the void for a shortcut through time”.
