From "The Good Lie" movie soundtrack.
"Imagine every where was free to roam
imagine if the trees could tell us where to go
imagine that the sun could fill each lonely heart
imagine confrontation never got a start
Imagine things will were always crystal clear
imagine if the mind never interfered
imagine we could fly with broken wings
imagine if the heart could shed its skin
Imagine sacred sites were left to be
imagine if true activists controlled tv
imagine captain watson had the final say
imagine if industry just had to obey
Please patience please
please patience please

2 CDs - 54 dance tunes from the 60's for less than $9. No way to lose when purchasing this set. Except a few pounds. The film itself was okay, but ultimately irrelevant; the soundtrack is simply outstanding. Melanie is missing from the soundtrack, but I think it was used in the movie largely as a joke on what was playing on the radio at the time compared to all the great music that wasn't being played. No different than 2014, right?

So, why tell you? Well, I know most of the folks that leaf through this blog are also musicians looking for a place to get some publicity. If you ever find yourself in need for marketing expertise, I know for a fact that John went the extra mile in order for one of his many readers to be able to have access in the way I wanted. That is dedication to the highest degree - caring about one in the midst of many.
