This dance is definitely pessimistic, but that’s okay. There are some things to be pessimistic about. If you listen to the folks we call leaders, it’s easy to see there’s no love in anything they say. The Iraquis tell us to get out and mind our own business, the president says we won’t get get out unless they stop fighting, they say they won’t stop fighting till we get out and the circles go on and on. And that’s only one conflict. You can apply this logic to any conflict – immigration, education, health care. It’s always the government against the needs of the people they were elected to ‘serve’ and for the needs of the businesses that profit from these so-called ‘public servants’. “The people shed no tears – because the future has no love.” What is does have is this fantastic reggae-flavored dance, so join the future now and meet me on the dance floor. Shoutout for Future Dub. Happy 4th of July, everyone!
