“I could reach you before the walls come down.” Iris is upbeat on The Red Bird, but maintains a serious approach to her story. Her vocals are intense and totally convince me that she has total control of her thoughts. “I’ll remain still and take notice of what’s in front of me without staring far out into sea, who’s inside of me?” She could also be verbally saying “see who’s inside of me?” Works either way for me.
